About PEADS
The Political Economy of Aid and Development Society brings together economists and political scientists to address the political economy of development. Our first meeting was held in Dublin in 2023.
- A community of scholars. We are building a community of aid and development scholars.
- Small meetings, deeper engagement. Meetings are deliberately small, so every paper gets in-depth discussion.
- Policy engagement. We build policy engagement into each annual meeting.
- Free to attend. We are committed to keeping the conference free of charge.
- Two continents. Alternating annual meeting between North America and Europe, to reach a broader group of scholars.
